🎉🚗 A BIG congratulations to Alice, who passed her driving test today in Kettering - first time! 🥳👏

Alice had a lovely drive around Kettering and the surrounding area, including Finedon and Isham, and came back with that all-important PASS ✅🎉

She’s worked really hard, stayed committed to her lessons and fully deserved today’s result. I’m really proud of the progress she’s made and the confident driver she’s become. 💪🚘

📸 Alice is very camera shy, so she politely declined the usual pass photo — hence the slightly blurred, anonymous celebration picture 😄

Well done Alice — enjoy the freedom, drive safely and all the very best for the future! 🚗💨🎊

Another one for the Lawrence’s Driving School Wall of Fame!

🚗 What does “making progress” actually mean on your driving test?

It doesn’t mean driving fast! 😄

Making progress is about driving at an appropriate speed for the road and conditions, and taking safe opportunities when they’re there.

One of the things I often see with learners is being a little too cautious — waiting when it’s clearly safe to go, or driving unnecessarily slowly.

The examiner wants to see a safe, confident driver who can get on with the job without rushing. 👍

🚘 A few spaces available

Following some recent test passes, I currently have limited availability for weekly automatic driving lessons in Kettering.

Lessons are 2 hours, and you’ll need to live in Kettering or very close by.

Have a look through my website first to see how I work, and if it sounds right for you, just send me a text. 😊

🎉🚗 CONGRATULATIONS DAISY! 🚗🎉

A massive congratulations to Daisy on passing her driving test today in Kettering! 🥳🎊

It was a fantastic drive from start to finish, and Daisy kept her cool throughout – even enjoying a chat with the examiner along the way! 😄👏

One of the standout moments was a textbook-perfect parallel park around a parked car. 🚙✨ She was so proud of it afterwards, and quite rightly so – it was absolutely spot on! 💯

Daisy has worked hard to reach this moment, and it's been a pleasure helping her develop into a safe, confident driver. Now it's time to enjoy the freedom and independence that comes with a full driving licence! 🚘🌟

Well done again, Daisy. Wishing you many years of safe, happy motoring. Stay safe and enjoy every mile! 🍀😊
