From Summer School Student to Serving His Country
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a teacher/coach is seeing students go on to achieve their goals long after classroom learning has ended.
I’m incredibly proud to share that a former summer school student of mine in Malaysia—originally from Saudi Arabia—has contacted me to share some wonderful news. He has successfully passed his military assessment and is now serving in the military.
This is a significant achievement that reflects his discipline, determination, and commitment to his country.
I still remember his focus and dedication during lessons—qualities that have clearly helped him reach this important milestone. It is always inspiring to see students take what they have learned and apply it to real-life challenges and responsibilities.
We would like to congratulate Abdullsluam on this outstanding accomplishment and wish him strength, safety, and continued success as he serves his nation.
Moments like this remind me why teaching international students is such a privilege—you never know where their journey will lead, but it is always an honour to be part of the beginning.
