🎶 Waltzing through the week 🎶

We had a blast doing the waltz and stepping into samba at our end of Summer term concert earlier this week.

Years 1 through 6 displayed their skills from orchestra instrumental to singing to recorder and drums. Everyone was all smiles!

Thanks to all the parents who attended the serenade and picnic in the large gardens!

Last week Years 5 and 6 had a fantastic time on their five day residential trip to Grosvenor Hall in Kent, where they took part in a range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities 🤸

The trip enabled the children to develop their team-building skills, as they worked together to create outdoor shelters and complete obstacle courses. Plus, students tested their ability to support one another, as they took turns to conquer their fears and brave the adrenaline-filled 'Leap of Faith'!

This week Early Years took part in an exciting drama workshop as part of their 'Pirate' topic, in which they have been learning about the world. They were visited by Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and the crocodile from Perform and spent time exploring how to be expressive and how to convey feelings. The children in Nursery and Pre-Reception have been learning about 'Minibeasts!' This week they baked delicious butterfly biscuits in our cookery room and learnt more about the life-cycle of the caterpillar. To see more photos head to Brighton College Prep Kensington

Today Year 6 have been mono-printing! Within art lessons our children have the opportunity to complete activities throughout the year that use a range of materials. They are able to build their creative skills through drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture and design. Head to to see more photos of them hard at work!

To mark the end of term today we held our End of Term Awards, with Mrs Gaffney giving out the cups, which cover a wide range of subjects. If you would like to see more photos from our celebrations head to Brighton College Prep Kensington

On Saturday 11 March we hosted our first Open Morning as Brighton College Prep Kensington. It was lovely to open our doors and be able to show prospective parents around our beautiful school. Guests were toured by our current students and got to meet our Head Mrs Gaffney, other members of our Senior Leadership team, and teachers. Visiting children took part in fun activities along their tour including archaeological digs for the little ones, and a Spanish café in our languages classroom, and our catering team ensured no one went hungry with beautiful breakfast foods and cakes.
