My first session taking part in KMAT Great Debate with Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust at the Kenilworth Centre.

A level student from Kenilworth School & Sixth Form, Maya vs Kenilworth Mayor, Cllr Alison Insley from Kenilworth Town Council - topic, "Optimism is the most important quality in civic leadership."

We had 5 minutes to prepare, 5 minutes to compete, and then an opportunity to discuss where we actually stand on the topic.

I had to be against, while Maya was in agreement, who won? Well you'll have to wait a week or so to listen to the podcast on Radio Abbey Kenilworth.

What a fun, but challenging experience...thank you to Aaron Dudley for all his work in developing the Great Debate and taking it to a National level...now, I think we can all agree, that is something worth talking about. 🗣
