We were delighted to be able to attend Dent CE Primary School end of year service last month to present them with their cheque for the £4,000 donation we were able to give them following the 2026 race.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing support from our local community including Dentdale WI (the amazing cake and sandwich makers), Marshalls, volunteers, sponsors and most importantly all the runners. Thanks to each and every one of you.

This also marks the end of an era with longstanding chairman and committee member Scott Thornley leaving us (to be fair he hasn’t had a child in the school for about 8 years) - I don’t have enough fingers to count how many years service but apparently it’s around 15.

Our AGM is on Monday 14th September at 16:30 in the Sedgwick Room - all welcome whether just for a nosey or anyone interested in joining the committee.

Otherwise, the 2027 race is scheduled in for Saturday 13th March so we’ll hopefully see you all there!
