This week we have been exploring all things transport! 🚗✈️

The children have been cutting and sticking pictures of cars, lorries etc. back together like a puzzle.🧩

We then had an experiment outside with bubbles 🫧 on the tuff tray and the children blew bubbles using lots of different shapes

We also enjoyed play-dough letter🔡printing in the garden.

The children made pizzas 🍕 using basil🌿 and rosemary from our own herb garden, and we even used vegan cheese 🧀 for our children with allergies.

We also made spiders🕷️ using our Halloween 🎃 pumpkin-scented playdough.

We ended the week with a lovely trip to the park🛝

What a busy week! 🍂

We’ve been exploring all things autumn with magnifying glasses — conkers, acorns, pinecones, leaves and even wiggly worms! Great for fine motor skills using our pincer grips.

We’ve also loved cotton bud painting and car printing 🎨

And outside we’ve been making magic potions with pipettes, jugs and test tubes 🧪✨

This week, we have been exploring everything autumnal, focusing on myself and the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. With the weather being unpredictable, it has been very confusing to navigate what activities to do; we did some water play, which the children enjoyed.

Maths activity about age-related size ordering.
All about me, making faces out of balloons.
Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, creating Chinese lanterns.
