📚 Our KS1 children love our 3-Part Read! 📚

Each text is explored over three days, helping our children build confidence and develop a real love of reading!

🔤 Day 1 – Decoding: We focus on recognising and understanding the words.

🎭 Day 2 – Prosody: We bring the text to life by reading with expression, intonation and fluency!

🧠 Day 3 – Comprehension: We dive deeper into the text, discussing what we have read and ask the children questions.

This approach gives children the chance to revisit a text several times, building familiarity, confidence and deeper understanding along the way. It also helps them develop into fluent, expressive and thoughtful readers! ❤️📖

Our pupils have been busy exploring electricity and learning all about how to make circuits! There was lots of investigating, problem-solving and excitement when those bulbs finally lit up! 💡

Even Mr R wanted a slice of the action and couldn’t resist getting involved! 😂⚡️

A huge congratulations to all our Class of 2026 pupils starting their secondary school journey today, and best wishes to those whose first day is still to come.
It was so lovely to see some of our Year 6s pop back today to tell us all about their first day. We absolutely loved hearing your stories and seeing how excited you are for this new chapter.
Remember, no matter where your journey takes you, we're always here for a chat. We love seeing you and hearing all about your new adventures, achievements, and experiences.

It was so lovely to see all of our wonderful children back at school today! 🥰🏫

The corridors are full of smiles, laughter and excitement once again, and we couldn’t be happier to have everyone back where they belong.

We have a feeling that 2026–2027 is going to be a very special year, and we are so excited to see what the year ahead holds! ✨

Here’s to new adventures, new friendships, lots of learning and plenty of unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to share the journey with you all! 💙
