🎉 Exciting News! 🎉
I have some wonderful news to share — I have secured a permanent job! 🥳

Because of this, I won't be releasing tutoring dates in advance for the time being, as I am still waiting to find out my official start date. For now, I'll be taking each week as it comes.
I will be contacting everyone individually to discuss preferred days and times for tutoring sessions, and I will do my very best to accommodate as many requests as possible. I really appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition.

It's such an exciting time, and it feels even more special knowing that I only have 39 days until I graduate and officially walk across the stage! 🎓✨

I want to say a huge thank you to all of my students and families for your continued support, encouragement, and belief in me throughout this journey. I truly couldn't have done it without you all.

You have worked incredibly hard and should be so proud of everything you’ve achieved. Remember, SATs are just one way to show what you know. They do not define how brilliant, creative, and capable you are.

Get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and take each question one step at a time. Believe in yourself and do your best, that is more than enough! 💛📚✏️

Percentages explained for parents 😊

A percent means “out of 100.”
So finding a percentage is about dividing, not “taking off zeros”.

Start with 259.0

➡️ 1% of 259
259.0 → 2.590
Divide by 100 = move the decimal 2 places to the left

➡️ 10% of 259
259.0 → 25.90
Divide by 10 = move the decimal 1 place to the left

This works for any number, even when there are no zeros to remove.
Focusing on dividing by 10 and 100 helps children really understand what percentages mean, instead of memorising rules that can break later.
