Unfortunately due to Rachel's personal account being hacked, we don't have full access to this page any more. So, we have created a new one for the nursery called "Millswood Day Nursery, Ivybridge" and we will be deactivating this page in the near future. We are open between 8am-6pm, 51 weeks of the year (7:30am drop off available).

What a wonderful celebration we had this afternoon for all 26 children who will be leaving us for school. We sang songs, ate delicious cakes made by our wonderful families and enjoyed the sunshine! If you would like to share any individual photographs of your children that you have taken today, we would love to see them!

Our allotment is looking so amazing we simply couldn’t not share! The children (under the watchful eye of our Chief Gardener Kelly) have done a grand job in growing all of these magnificent vegetables. Today the children have been using the courgettes to bake some really yummy buns, some to go home and some that will be enjoyed at our celebration for our school leavers and their families this week.

Two keys on a keyring have been handed in to the nursery having been found on the pavement outside. The keyring has photos of two children on it so should be easy to identify. Please let us know if you think they might be yours.

𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠!

We are looking for a cheerful and motivated team member, who is passionate about working with young children, to join our friendly and hardworking team. A high level of literacy and communication skills is a must, as well as a relevant level 3 qualification (as a minimum).

𝐃𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬?
· The ability to sing (𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺); however, the ability to sing out of tune in front of a crowd is essential.
· Possess the skill required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people.
· The ability to read a ten-page fairy-tale upside down with at least one interruption per page.
· Be able to laugh at jokes that you don’t understand, or you don’t find funny.
· Enjoy being outside, come rain or shine.
· Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special, and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job like this.
