I have worked as a primary teacher for over six years and have taught across all year groups in KS2, making me familiar with the curriculum in years 3, 4, 5 and 6. I am confident in teaching any area of the KS2 and KS1 curriculum. I like to find fun and engaging ways to making learning stick and will strive to support any child in their learning. I have experience in identifying areas for developm
ent and I'm able to find strategies to overcome barriers in learning. When working with your child, I like to spend time getting to know them and finding their likes and dislikes. This will allow me to plan lessons that will be engaging and relevant to their interests, as well as their needs. I am more than happy to provide a meeting with parents/carers, free of charge, prior to any tutoring sessions to allow you to meet with me, discuss your child's needs and begin to form a strong partnership in supporting your child.
