We are incredibly proud of Mrs Blackmore, who has spent the last two years championing Writing for Pleasure across our school.

Through her involvement in Get Hounslow Writing and a research project with St Mary's University, children in Years 2–6 now have Writing for Pleasure journals and are inspired to write alongside their teachers. Highlights have included a poetry exchange with Hounslow Heath School and the launch of a mini book club where children create their own fiction and non-fiction books.

This week, Mrs Blackmore and Mrs Colley were invited to a celebration event at St Mary's University, where Mrs Blackmore confidently presented her impact report, sharing the positive outcomes of the project and the difference it's made to our pupils.

Well done, Mrs Blackmore!
