I've learned this one the hard way.

Your environment will either feed the person you're trying to become… or keep feeding the person you're trying to leave behind.

And environment isn't just where you live.

It's who you spend time with.
The conversations you're part of.
The group chats.
The voices you listen to.
The s**t you consume every day.

Spend enough time around people who complain about everything and eventually everything starts looking like a problem.

Spend enough time around people who blame everyone else and eventually responsibility starts feeling optional.

But it works the other way too.

Get around people who move.
People who challenge themselves.
People who talk about ideas instead of other people.
People who genuinely want to see you win.
People who tell you the truth when you need to hear it.

And something changes.

You change.

I've seen this through running.
Through men's groups.
Through breathwork.
Through coaching.
Through the communities I've been lucky enough to build and be part of.

Sometimes people don't need another fu***ng motivational quote.

They need a different room.

And here's the bit we often forget...

You are part of somebody else's environment too.

So while you're asking whether the people around you bring out the best in you...

Ask yourself an even harder question:

What do people get more of after spending time with me?

Belief or doubt?
Energy or exhaustion?
Possibility or limitation?
Connection or judgement?
Feeling good or feeling like s**t?

Find your people.

But make damn sure you're becoming one of those people too.

Someone asked me a question last week that caught me completely off guard.

“Are you holding onto this too tightly?”

My first reaction was probably resistance.

Because when something matters to us, when we've been hurt, disappointed, angry, worried or desperate for something to work out, being told to “let it go” can feel almost insulting.

But that wasn't really what they were asking me.

They weren't asking me to forget it.

Or pretend it didn't matter.

They were asking me whether I could loosen my grip on it.

And I've thought about that a lot since.

Because when we grip something tightly enough, eventually we're not just holding the thing anymore.

The thing starts holding us.

It follows us into bed.

Into conversations.

Into relationships.

Into work.

Into the way we feel and react to the people around us.

It takes up space in our head even when nothing is actually happening.

And maybe letting go doesn't always mean dropping it completely.

Maybe that's too big a leap right now.

Maybe today you just loosen your grip by 5%.

Create a little space between you and it.

Enough to breathe.

Enough to think.

Enough to notice the rest of your life happening around you.

Enough to begin asking what comes next.

I don't know what you're carrying right now.

A relationship.

A mistake.

Something someone did to you.

Something you did.

A situation you can't control.

A version of how you thought your life was supposed to turn out.

But maybe you don't need to solve it today.

Maybe there's a smaller question worth asking:

What might change in my life if I stopped holding onto this quite so tightly?

You don't have to drop it.

Just see what happens when you loosen your grip.

Pssst.. yeah you..

Just wanted to tell you something..

Thank you.

Thank you for the messages, the feedback, the kindness and support.

It was never a clear path this..

While trying to shape the service I wanted to be to the world it was really messy.

When i first started getting my certificates and supposed validation in the wellness world, behind the scenes I was swimming against constant waves.

I was losing people and finding new ones.

I was suffocating in some parts of my life and thriving in others.

I was learning, growing and making loads of mistakes.

At the core was an issue with trust, shame and being enough.

I was being let down by people who should have known better.

I was made the bad guy in their stories without ever having a chance to defend myself.

Despite it, I kept showing up, kept leaning in.

Kept turning the pages of my book not sure what would be written next.

And eventually I went through the ceiling..

I found out what mattered and what didnt.

Everything got smaller or tighter, my circle..

My people pleasing.

And my f*cking boundaries.

Being my best version became my compass.

I learned about values and i leaned in there too.

Things gathered pace.

The more value led I became the more my path lit up.

Coaching , leadership, breathwork ,, performance, I leaned in and kept leaning in.

i felt open for it all.

And my stramgers followed.

You !

You found me, through a video, a message, a podcast episode, a breathwork..

It pushed a button in you and you leaned in too.

I am here for it.

I am ALL IN.

I HOPE you are ALL IN TOO!

My mission with this page, this brand is to help, heal and share.

If it is for you then take it, if it is not for you, leave if.

Cause here is the thing, I am proof things can turn out amazing.

Everyone i meet and work with have evidence too.

We dont need to stay stuck.

We dont need to be alone.

Let's go !!

Thank You

Kev 💙

There are moments in our lives where we have more questions than answers.

There are moments where we have more weight on our shoulders than freedom in our lives.

More doubts than hopes.

More setbacks than steps forward.

I am learning than all of this and more are simply chapters in the story.

Sometimes I feel I have the pen to write the pages and sometimes it feels they are being written for me.

I don't always know or like what is written but I do know I cant give up.

I can't stop writing..

You are uniquely beautiful.

There is noone like you.

The past is gone, the future is undecided and what you have is right here right now.

You are living it.

Breathing it.

You may not have the answers.

Your not supposed to.

But you have so much more control over your decisions than you are likely giving yourself credit for.

I beg of you this one thing..

Quit spending so much time and emotions on the wrong things..

Quit being so hard on yourself..

You are not your wounds..

You are not your mistakes or your past.

Believe in yourself, trust yourself..

Find spaces and community to support you write the next pages.

And of course in true Kevin fashion.

If you are going to go...

You go ALL IN.

Big Love

K 💙

I've struggled all day to find the words for what I witnessed last night.

Nearly 90 people came together..

We created a bubble, a safe place..

A place to feel and a place to heal.

People from all walks of life, all different stories.

I asked people to go all in..

I promised I would to.

I abandoned scripts and devices and led from my heart not my head.

I felt something really special brewing as we spoke together before the breathwork started.

The venue was one I had wanted to do something in for such a long time and it matched my hopes.

Seeing people working through it all..

The mess, the questions and the hope is something i never grow tired of.

We get one go at this.. we have to work it out.

The breathwork may not the be the thing thay does it.

But wow does it have the potential to help you open doors within you that might move you forward.

Thank you to everyone who attended..

There was magic 🎩 ✨️ in this room 📖🖊🎬

There's a lonely chapter of changing your life that nobody really prepares you for.

You start wanting different things.

Thinking differently.

Certain conversations don't feel the same anymore.

Places you once loved don't quite fit.

People you've known for years might still matter deeply to you… but you realise you're heading in different directions.

And suddenly you find yourself somewhere in the middle.

You've outgrown parts of your old world, but you haven't found all of your new one yet.

I've experienced this myself.

There have been times I've missed old friendships, old places and even old versions of me.

And that space between the two can feel fu***ng lonely.

It can make you question yourself.

Am I changing too much?

Why don't I fit anymore?

Where are my people?

But I've learned to trust that chapter.

Because slowly, almost without noticing, you start finding them.

The person you can have that conversation with.

The person who understands what you're building.

The running friend.

The business friend.

The person you can be vulnerable with.

The person who challenges you.

The person who just gets it.

I don't think we necessarily find one perfect "tribe."

I've realised I have different people in different corners of my life.

And somehow, as I've become clearer about who I am and where I'm going, those people have started finding their way into my life too.

So if you're currently standing somewhere between who you were and who you're becoming...

Don't panic and run back simply because the old world feels familiar.

Keep going.

Keep showing up as the person you're becoming.

Your world has changed before your surroundings have caught up.

Give them time to catch up. ❤️

What have you become so good at enduring that you've stopped asking why you're still carrying it?

I've been thinking a lot about that word.

Endure.

We admire it.

Keep going. Stay strong. Push through.

And sometimes that's exactly what life requires of us.

But there's another side to it.

You can become incredibly fu***ng good at carrying things.

Pain. Grief. Anger. Shame. Stress. Things from years ago.

You learn to function around them.

You work. Train. Laugh. Love. Achieve. Help everyone else.

And because you're still functioning, you convince yourself you're okay.

But functioning and being free are not the same thing.

This photo was taken at a retreat a few weeks ago.

I'd reached a place inside myself I initially didn't want to go.

I resisted it.

I knew there was a line I'd become very good at staying above.

Above it, I could cope. Control. Carry on.

Beneath it was everything I'd learned to endure.

Eventually, I went through it.

It was sore.

I cried. I released. I let myself be held.

And something changed.

I've felt different ever since.

Yesterday, while running, it came back to me.

How many people around us aren't okay…

They're just incredibly good at enduring?

Because endurance can look remarkably like strength from the outside.

I've spent much of my life believing strength meant being able to carry more.

I'm not sure I believe that anymore.

Sometimes strength is surviving the storm.

And sometimes strength is finally putting down what you no longer need to carry.

Ultimately there will be moments in your life to endure for you and those who matter most but equally there will be moments where you dont need to and can just let it go.

Does this land where it needs to for you...?

The result wasn't the thing I was happiest about.

It was what they said to me afterwards.

After weeks of preparation, conversations, planning and working on what would happen when things inevitably got hard… they went out there and did it.

The strategies worked.

The plan held up.

But something much bigger happened along the way.

They shattered a ceiling.

There was a limit above them before that race.

Not a physical one.

One built from fear, doubt and all those quiet questions we ask ourselves when we're about to attempt something that scares us.

What if I can't?

What if it gets too hard?

What if I'm not capable of this?

Then they went and found out.

And afterwards, hearing them tell me that they now knew they could face hard things in the future without the same fear...

That was the win for me.

Because the race eventually becomes a memory.

The medal gets put away.

The legs recover.

But that evidence stays with you.

You've now met the version of yourself who keeps going when it gets really fu***ng hard.

You've seen what they're capable of.

And you can't completely unsee that.

I think that's one of the greatest gifts we get from deliberately putting ourselves in situations that stretch us.

Sometimes the thing you're taking on isn't really the destination at all.

It's an opportunity to discover something about yourself that changes how you approach everything that comes afterwards.

Watching someone have that realisation is pretty special.

The ceiling they thought was above them wasn't a ceiling at all.

And now they know it. ❤️
