Morning All !

I remember when I was in school, the worse thing I thought would happen is getting in trouble for not doing my homework. I was never afraid that someone would shoot my friends. Yet, people had guns and rifles in their homes. So what changed? I think society has changed. When I was little, my hero's consisted of a collie, who would always save the day. Batman, who's weapon was a boomerang. Wonder woman, who's weapon was a lasso, shows about family life, brothers, sisters and parents all sharing their days. Shows about families sitting at the dinner table. Comedy shows that were funny and entertaining. Late night shows you stayed up for, like Johnny Carson. Today, who are those heros for young children to look up to? Men with machine guns, weapons that are now called "assault" weapons. TV shows that are so sexually explicit, and violent. Late night shows that spew more hatred than comedy. Actors and musicians behaving like angry spoiled kids. Respect is gone, life has changed.
