It was an honor to create this “Home is where the Bear is” quilt. Unfortunately, time ran out to take finished photos, as meeting the pre-Christmas deadline was a priority, but I'm thrilled it was well-received and will be treasured by its young owner!

A Magical Harry Potter Birthday Party at Lavenham Falconry! (Right after spotting all the Harry Potter movie locations at Lavenham!!)

We had an absolutely enchanting day celebrating our daughter’s Harry Potter-themed birthday at Lavenham Falconry. The experience felt like stepping straight into the Wizarding World! Led by none other than Professor Grubbly-Plank, a stand-in from Hogwarts, we learned all about fantastic beasts and magical creatures.

Jo, the amazing host who runs the Falconry, made sure everyone felt welcome and safe, as we explored the magic of the animal kingdom. We started by flying owls and Harris hawks, just like wizards and witches at Hogwarts! Then, we entered the indoor area to meet even more creatures. We practiced Parseltongue with snakes, handled them bravely, met a friendly “dragon,” and even fed a giant tortoise.

It was a day filled with magical creatures and incredible memories—perfect for any Harry Potter fan! Thank you for making this birthday so unforgettable!
