I am delighted to say that following an inspection by the Environmental Health team today, the nursery remains graded at 5 - the highest level possible. A huge thanks to the kitchen team, who provide such delicious, nutritious meals each day

At Highfield we like to serve delicious, nutritious meals made with the best local ingredients.
Our dedicated team is looking for a cook each day - term time only (9.30am-2pm) to help make up to 90 lunches for the children in the centre. We are also looking for kitchen pool staff to cover any sickness and holiday on an ad hoc basis.

No previous experience needed, but some kitchen experience would be desirable. You need to love cooking in a busy kitchen, a willingness to learn and a commitment to work as part of a happy, friendly team is vital. You will need to complete a fully funded level 2 food hygiene certificate as part of your training.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks required for relevant posts.

🎄🎅🏻🌟Just one more sleep until our Christmas Bazaar! We are really looking forward to our Christmas fundraiser tomorrow from 4pm. There will be a BBQ with hotdogs, including vegetarian and gluten free options as well as games and raffle. Our Father Christmas tickets have sold out, and those who have a ticket should know the allocated time slot. Please contact the main office if you are not sure.

Please remember to apply for your child’s school place before 15th January. Most schools offer visits and tours, so book a visit at all schools you may be interested in. You can put up to 3 choices on your school application.

✨🎅❄️We are delighted to announce the return of our Christmas Bazaar! ❄️🎅✨

During the Bazaar, there will be a BBQ serving hot dogs, so you can have supper whilst you explore the stalls in the garden. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash as well as a selection of sweet treats will be available. Please bring your own reusable cups and beakers to help reduce the use of single use plastic!

Stalls will include:
Reindeer food, decorate a biscuit, sweet & chocolate tombola, where has Rudolph been on holiday, decoration making and many more.

We would like to thank you for your support of our first Christmas Bazaar for three years, we hope this will be a great start to the festive season.
