Jude is off sick today but he has been spending his time usefully with Indiana Jones.

Mr Almond is the Headteacher at Sidegate Primary School. Sidegate and Gusford are both in the Active Learning Trust.

Yesterday Sidegate had quite a significant fire on their roof. This can be quite unsettling as a Headteacher, for the children and the staff and indeed parents. Mr Almond and the team relied on their experience and training and did an incredible job evacuating everyone and keeping them calm whilst the fire was extinguished.

Very calm and very brave. Well done Mr Almond.

It looks like it will be a little cooler tomorrow but we will keep the adaptations to uniform and routines in place (and include some water fun!). Remember Friday is a non-contact day. No school.
