Joyous music-making at our Spring Solos Concert/Playtogether this afternoon! 🌷

After our 50-day practice challenge (with some well-earned certificates and sweet treats), progress this term really shone through in everyone’s beautiful solo playing. Well-known favourites were played together at a lively tempo, and some great new ensemble music came together on the spot 🎶✨

Bravo, everyone! I’m especially proud of the wonderfully supportive community you’ve become. 💛

A lovely end-of-term Solos Concert and Christmas Playtogether this afternoon! 🎄🎶

From Twinkles to The Swan and the first movement of the Elgar Concerto, everyone played with such confidence and warmth, and listened so attentively. 💛

A special bravo to our adult players, who shone both as soloists and in our quartet of The Wellerman. 🌟 And seeing everyone chatting over tea and cookies was the perfect finish. ☕🍪

Feeling so proud — a beautiful way to end the term! 🎻✨

🎶 So proud of this group of pupils and parent-players - who, despite the windy conditions, performed a brilliant half-hour set of ensemble pieces at Kyson Primary School Summer Fair last Saturday! Huge thanks to the organising parent, who put together the programme and took the initiative to invite people along to play - and to everyone who took part or supported!

Huge congratulations to 16-year-old Daniel 🌟 — guest soloist with Ipswich Community Light Orchestra this weekend! 🎻🎵

He wowed us with four stunning performances, accompanied by pianist Andrew Leach — each played with flair, confidence, and total focus.👏

And then… Schindler’s List with orchestra! Absolutely exquisite. Those high notes really sang... 🎶🕊️
