As you are aware World Cup celebrations are about to start. We would like to support our teams(s) in this competition. On the next 3 Fridays (12th, 19th, 26th) we invite children to wear something associated with the team they are supporting. This could be the countries national colours, a football top of the team, something tartan for Scotland etc. We don’t want normal football tops, it must be associated with World Cup teams.
Good luck to all the teams taking part!

What a fantastic morning for our Baillie Cup team! Everyone ran like the wind, jumped and threw in style and did themselves proud! Lots of medals and smiles all round. Well done to our team of SUPERSTARS! We’re all so proud of YOU✨💫🌟!
Just a reminder for our Baillie Cup families that the children need to be at Bught Park for 9am. They don’t need to go to school first, just head straight there 🏃♂️ 🏃 🏃🏻♀️!

HUGE well done to our inter-school sports team today! Despite it being wet and a very closely fought competition, it's another year of a trophy returning to Kirkhill🏆
Medals galore and also male shot put of the day for Oscar, beating the previous record by more than a metre! The entire team displayed brilliant sportsmanship and determination. A shout out also to Oliver and Carmen who aren't pictured but took part in the morning events. We're very proud of all of you 🥳👏

Thursday 28th May - Sports Day will start at 9.30am.
Please ensure your child/children have a water bottle each and also apply sun screen as it is looking like the sun will be shining.
If you choose to take your child home after Sports Day please advise their class teacher before you leave with them.
Lunch choice as normal.
Due to the inclement weather forecast for tomorrow it has been decided to postpone Sports Day until next Thursday, 28th May.
The picnic lunch will go ahead and children who have ordered will be able to have that in the canteen. Children who have not ordered will need to take a packed lunch with them as there will be no school lunch available.
Unfortunately, there will be no capacity for parents to join the children for the picnic lunch in the school canteen.
Next week will just be sports day. Fingers crossed for better weather.
