A massive thank you and well done to everyone who took part in yesterday’s WUKF Scottish Open in Dundee.
Great teamwork and spirit shown across the board and the results speak for themselves- continued progress once again.
Special shout out to Harvey’s successful debut on the mats and to all our coaches who not only looked after our team but also stepped onto the mat.
Our very own ‘McPowell’ won the Vets Sanbon.
It was also the first time for our Oban colleagues to be part of Team HKA and you fitted right in!

A big thank you to Senseis Owen and Slaney for coming through and putting the kids, and big kids, through their paces with kata and kumite drills.

Our next event will be the Scottish Open and we will continue with our training towards that.

🥋💥We’re pleased to announce a very special event for Inverness Karate Academy 💥🥋

For the first time, our club will be hosting a seminar with former JKS World Champion and current JKS Honbu Dojo instructor, Daisuke Watanabe Sensei from Japan 🇯🇵

This is not only the first seminar our club has hosted but to the best of our knowledge it is also the first time in around 20 years that a Japanese Sensei has taught a seminar in Inverness.

The seminar is open to all Karateka regardless of style or affiliation and we look forward to you joining us for this event.

📢 Reminder | As Inverness Leisure will be hosting the Highland constituencies count and declarations during the Scottish Parliament Elections, parts of our dry-side will be temporarily closed during the week commencing 4 May.

✅ Swimming pools, health suite and running track remain open throughout. All areas return to normal on Sunday 10 May.
