Sadly there’s been no opportunity to revive Science Club, given the circumstances - here is a link to our online tuition service which is running through the school closure and beyond. Subjects available are Maths, Biology, Chemistry & Physics. We normally work with Secondary, but also offer online ‘Science Experiences’ to interested Primary Pupils 😊

Private tuition (including online) delivered by experienced teachers of the Scottish curriculum. Subjects offered are Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, from late Primary stage to Advanced Higher level.

Hello all -

Unfortunately our Science Club will be on hiatus for a wee while because of new work commitments. We will be in touch when things can get going again - but I don’t foresee it being this term.
We will keep you posted about a restart date.

We’re not on this week because of inservice days 👩🏻‍🏫🍎 Also, because of the election on December 12th, we will need to reschedule that class for after Christmas - exciting times. Hope that your scientists all enjoyed birthday, Halloween and fireworks fun so far this block! We’ll see them back on the 21st November - theme to follow 😊

I think that the class really enjoyed learning about organs yesterday, even the squeamish ones got involved 😀 Here is Anu dissecting one of the hearts in her private lesson - S2 Scientist!

In Science Club on Thursday we will be making ‘O-Wing’ Gliders and seeing how far they can fly! We are kicking off around 3:20pm and will start tidying up by 4pm, although you are still welcome to pick-up at 4:15! If you’ve not confirmed that your little scientists are coming for this block, please let us know 😊
