Sports betting has become increasingly visible online, appearing across apps, websites, social media, sports coverage and gaming spaces.

Even when young people are not legally old enough to gamble, they may still encounter betting messages through adverts, influencers, tipsters, friends or adult accounts.

Our latest guide highlights key risks, including:
β€’ Easy online access
β€’ Gambling becoming normalised around sport
β€’ Peer and influencer pressure
β€’ Free bet offers
β€’ Impulsive spending and chasing losses

It also offers practical advice for parents, carers and educators on starting calm conversations, setting safer digital boundaries, spotting warning signs and finding support.

Attendance is not optional - It is the difference between falling behind and moving ahead.

When students miss school, they do not just miss lessons - they miss learning. Even a few days off quickly add up, and the impact is real:

πŸ“‰ Students with poor attendance are far more likely to drop a grade - or several at GCSE and Sixth Form.

πŸ“ˆ Students who attend regularly achieve higher results, stronger progress and leave with more choices for their future.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Parents & Carers: Every absence matters. Strong attendance now protects your child’s long term success - their grades, their confidence and their future pathways.

πŸŽ’ Students: Your future is being built right now. Every lesson you attend moves you closer to your goals. Every lesson you miss puts obstacles in your way.

Show up. Stay focused. Protect your chances.

Excellent attendance is the expectation, not the exception.

Your grades. Your future. Your move.
