Goodbye Year 11!
Today we said a fond farewell to the Year 11 Class of 2026.
It was an emotional afternoon as students arrived wearing their beautifully decorated and personalised leavers’ shirts. They added a splash of colour and personality to the occasion.
Leavers’ Day began with a wonderful presentation featuring a variety of awards – some sensible, some humorous – along with a collection of adorable and occasionally embarrassing photographs that brought back many treasured memories and plenty of laughter.
The celebrations continued with the traditional shirt signing and group photographs, giving everyone the chance to leave messages and well wishes for the future.
The afternoon was rounded off with pizza before the students took part in a special guard of honour. Year 10 students and staff lined the route, applauding and cheering as Year 11 made their way out of school for the very last time.
We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and wish them every success and happiness in the future. While today marks the end of their journey with us as students, we look forward to seeing them dressed to impress at their Prom next Thursday and welcoming them back on 20th August for GCSE Results Day. Good luck, Year 11 – you will be greatly missed!

Well done to all the students who competed and represented the school with such pride, determination and heart.

Today we celebrated ‘Wear Purple Day’, an initiative led by our Year 10 students taking part in the Alan Senitt Upstanders Leadership Programme to raise awareness of violence against women and girls and support Jewish Women’s Jewish Women's Aid (JWA).
Students wore purple items with pride and raised funds through donations and an ice pop sale at lunchtime, with all proceeds going to JWA.
A huge well done to Llara Adebajo-Martinez, Zaira Adebajo-Martinez, Fathi Hassan, Arsela Madana, Maria Najam, Michael Puskas, Zarshala Qureshi, Holly Saliba, Lara Sarikaya, Hannah Scarry, Brodie Schiffman and Daniel Szybiak, alongside Mrs Spurling, for their fantastic organisation and leadership.
A massive thank you also to our wonderful catering team for making the ice pop sale possible in the canteen at lunchtime and for all their hard work supporting the event. 💜

This week, our Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to explore one of London’s most modern and vibrant areas - the Docklands.
On Monday and Tuesday, students met their tour guides at West India Quay before heading off on a fascinating walking tour of the area. Along the way, they enjoyed the impressive riverside views of Canary Wharf while learning about the Docklands’ rich history, from the bustling spice trade to the warehouses that once stored goods from across the world.
Students also visited the Museum of London Docklands, where they explored over 400 years of Docklands history through a range of interactive and engaging galleries.
To round off the trip, students enjoyed a walk along the Thames Path, taking in some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including The Shard and 30 St Mary Axe (better known as The Gherkin), which together form part of London’s world-famous skyline.
The trip was a fantastic chance for students to deepen their understanding of London’s history, and experience firsthand one of the capital’s most iconic areas.

This afternoon, our Year 7 students were captivated by an engaging and impactful workshop delivered by The Riot Act, a team of dynamic education providers committed to motivating and inspiring young people across the UK.
Through a powerful and thought-provoking drama centred on road safety, students explored the real-life consequences of the choices they make and the significant influence peer pressure can have during this important stage of their development. The performance brought these vital messages to life in a relatable, memorable and emotionally engaging way, prompting meaningful reflection and discussion amongst our students.
More than just a performance, the workshop was a powerful tool for building awareness, resilience, and confidence - equipping students with the skills and understanding needed to make informed, responsible and safe decisions in their everyday lives.
