This week we are celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week!
A series of activities to help our staff and learners raise awareness about Mental Health!
With staff wellbeing yoga by Community Action Redbridge, workshops delivered from Imagine Independence and Redbridge Police talked to our learners about domestic abuse and scams.
From 's Information Booth and our police visit to guided meditation and staff wellbeing yoga sessions, weβre learning the power of speaking up and supporting each other.

Sindhura Kota is an outstanding learner who demonstrates professionalism, dedication, and a strong work ethic. She is always punctual, wellβorganised, and consistently engaged in her studies.
Throughout her time at Redbridge Institute, she has made significant progress both academically and personally.
Her English studies have greatly improved her confidence in communicating with others, helping her overcome challenges she initially faced when adapting to life in the UK.
She is now confidently seeking opportunities within educational settings or IT-related roles, with aspirations to grow her career in teaching or technology. Her proactive attitude, reliability, and determination make her highly deserving of this award.

From getting hands-on with gardening, learning about reusable nappies, reducing food waste, and exploring solar energy, to joining fun cycling workshops π²βοΈ
We also deepened our understanding by learning about Carbon Literacy Certification and taking part in an inspiring ESOL skill swap workshop π€π
All whilst enjoying delicious daily vegan dishes served by Waah Catering π₯πΏβshowing that sustainable choices can be tasty too!

Massive shout out to our ESOL pre-entry class, for kicking off today's Green Week activities with a "Skills Swap"
In the afternoon learners dropped into the learner lounge to visit the "Energy CafΓ©" where they heard about simple tips on how to save energy!
Ending the day with staff & students learning more about gaining a carbon literacy certification!
