Gearies Greek School

On 1st July, we held our end of year yiorti. The children entertained us with poems, songs and dances, and then we moved outside for souvlakia and games to raise money for the school.

The event was our most successful ever and we are all very proud. Come and join our community - you won't regret it!

Saturday 1st April saw our triple bill yiorti, when we celebrated Greek Independence Day, Cyprus National Day, and Easter! Much fun was had by all, with some great dancing and performances by our children, as well as our 'Bashy Egg Contest' and other fundraising efforts!

Summer BBQ 2022

Our end of year yiorti is taking place Saturday 9th July @ 10.15am. There will be performances from all the students as well as some Greek dancing. From 11.30am we will be selling traditional Greek pork souvlakia, a variety of home made cakes and some games for the children to take part in, as well as our raffle with a star prize and many gifts to be won.

Please spread the word and bring along family and friends. This is our main fundraising event for our school and a great opportunity to see what the school has to offer.

With our songs, plays, poems and a dance spectacular, we have some great great memories and we raised some money for the school too!
