Liberty Day Nursery and Preschool

PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY: Liberty preschool went on a visit to the Ilford Fire station. They were shown around the station. They went inside the fire truck and were told what kinds of tools were on the truck. Fun for all children as they were able to hold the hose to spray water.

What we did last week.
Planting cucumber seeds (understanding of the world) . Participating in a race (physical development). Washing the dolls( personal, social and emotional development).
Cooking in the messy kitchen, talking about what they are doing(communication and language).
Pretending to move like a lion, an elephant and kangaroo(expressive art and design).

British values: Role play dressing up as king. Children took turns to dress up as the King riding in the carriage to the coronation.

This what we did today. Water play, reading, sand play building positive relationships through cooperation and listening to one another.
