As many of you already know, we are moving into our brand-new nursery at the end of this year! We are so excited to begin this new chapter and create an inspiring environment for all of our children. 🎉

Whilst we are fortunate to be purchasing lots of brand-new resources, we are also on the lookout for any pre-loved, natural, or open-ended resources that could help enhance our learning environment.

If you have any of the following that you no longer need and would be happy to donate, we would be incredibly grateful:

🏗️ Our New Nursery is Taking Shape! ✨

Our exciting new nursery is coming along quickly as we prepare for our move later this year! The builders have been working tirelessly, and it's amazing to see the progress being made.

🧱The groundwork for the extension to our beautiful new Toddler and Pre-School rooms has now been completed, and the brickwork has officially begun!

🚗 The car park has also been cleared and is now ready for levelling, marking out the parking spaces, and installing the safety barriers.

We can't wait to watch everything continue to come together over the coming weeks and are so excited to share more updates with you soon!

🎓 Pre-School Graduation & End of Term Party 🎉

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another fantastic year!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. We had an amazing time enjoying bouncy castles, messy play, ice creams, karaoke, and lots of smiles and laughter.

It was a special opportunity to celebrate not only our pre-school children as they graduate and move on to their next exciting chapter, but also all of our children, who have grown, developed, and achieved so much throughout the year. Every single one of them should be incredibly proud of themselves—we certainly are!

Of course, a very special mention must go to our incredible staff team, who work tirelessly not only today—giving up their Saturday to make this event so special—but every single day throughout the year. Their dedication, care, and commitment make all of this possible, and we are so grateful for everything they do. Without them, none of this would have been possible.

We would also like to say a very special thank you to Ibstock Leisure Complex, Life Facility Hire and Jordan Eagles Music for helping to make today such a memorable celebration.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend. More photos will be shared next week, and we'd love to see yours too—please feel free to share them with us! 💙

Nursery Development Update 🏗️

Yesterday, I was given my very own hard hat and hi-vis vest and headed off to visit our new nursery site!

I’ll be visiting the site every four weeks and look forward to bringing you along on this exciting journey as we create our wonderful purpose-built nursery.

It was fantastic to meet the site team, who were incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain the current stage of the project.

As you can see, the existing building has now been cleared, flooring raised and will make way for our lovely new baby room. The extension will more than double the size of the current building, creating a fantastic new space for our children to learn, play, and grow.

We cannot wait for this exciting new chapter for Ibstock Nursery and would like to thank the wider LiFE MAT team for helping to make this vision a reality.

This development will not only provide a brand-new environment for our children and staff but will also enable us to offer even greater opportunities for our children, families, and the wider community.

We look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!

🚧 Exciting News! 🚧

Our new nursery is well underway!

As I am sure you are all aware, we are delighted to announce that building work has now begun on our brand-new nursery, along with a dedicated nursery children and staff car park, off Melbourne Road.

Although the project will take a few months to complete, we are incredibly excited to watch it progress and can't wait to see the finished result. This is a very exciting step forward for our nursery community, and we look forward to sharing updates with you along the way.
