Join us on Friday 13th October for a 2 hour beaded wire workshop at the Coalville CAN Centre. Coalville C.A.N
Suitable for ages 8 to 14 (approximately - depends on each individual child).
The lovely Judith Gurney at 'Beaded Wirecrafts' has very kindly offered to lead a 'beaded tree' home ed workshop at a reduced rate of £10 per person.
My daughter took part in one of Judith's wire workshops last year (she was 11) with her friends at Guides and they really enjoyed it.
Children will be making a lovely beaded tree hanging decoration in colours of their choice.
They will be bending/shaping the wires themselves onto the frames and learning how to use wire cutting tools (only if they wish - an adult can do this if needed).
Next, they can choose from a huge range of coloured beads to decorate their trees and finish off with ribbon for hanging.
Room hire and venue costs are £2.50 per person so the total cost would be £12.50 per child.
Adults can make their own tree but will need to buy a ticket to cover materials.
This is a not for profit class run by/for home ed families.
Children can be dropped off as there will be DBS checked adults supervising. We will not have space for all adults to stay in the room but you're welcome to stay in the building and have a hot drink. There are seating areas for you to relax.
