Well done to our amazing Year 6 children for showing such resilience, determination and positivity throughout their SATs assessments. We are all so proud of the effort and maturity you have shown this week.

Now it’s time for the fun to begin — residential trips, summer production rehearsals and lots more opportunities to shine in all the many ways that make you unique. ⭐

Year 3 have been busy imagining how we can make our communities greener, brighter and better for everyone!

As part of our “Flower Block” project, the children designed their own community gardens, thinking carefully about sustainability and inclusion. Their ideas included compost bins, solar lights, water butts, colourful flower beds, herb gardens and vegetable patches. Many children also planned community events such as litter picks to encourage people to work together and care for the environment. ♻️🌸

In English, the children used their paragraphing skills to write detailed descriptions of their gardens. We loved seeing their creativity shine through both their designs and their writing! 💚
