Some of you may have seen the flags the Children have brought home, at Pre-School we'll be following the world cup.
Each child has picked out their team and we'll be letting them add the scores on the chart.
The winner will get a little prize.
This is just a little bit of fun that we're doing and don't worry if you lose the flag we have a copy at Pre-School ⚽️🗺️

If any of our families are looking for something to do this weekend, Sunday is Alconbury Sports & Social Club Family Fun Day. A fun way to support another fantastic local charity 🌤️

⭐️Week 18 Summer⭐️

What a fantastic week it's been!! 😁

We've had the sensory tray set up with different summer activities, including shaving foam ice cream with cones and sprinkles (we had to remind the children that it wasn't for eating as it did look delicious!!) 🍦
We also had gloop melted ice cream with cones and added spoons in for the children to mix it and summer themed 'make your own soup', with Oranges, Limes and Lemons.

This week we had Gabz in to see us, who tells interactive stories. She took us on an adventure where we went on a tractor 🚜 ride and had to listen out for the different animal sounds 🐷🦆 and then hide under a parachute when it started to rain 🌧🌂.

On the very wet Thursday morning, we played lots of games, including musical chairs, all the children did amazing at this and not once got upset when they were out. We played Duck, Duck, Goose and did a lot of dancing 🎶💃🕺
We aslo had a picnic lunch, which the children enjoyed.

Also a Tadpole update: we now have a litte frog 🐸, the children have loved seeing it and looking for it each day.

JENGAA!!
This morning the children played a fantastic game of Jenga. They each took their turn to build up the tower and then all tried to get a block out without it falling down!
The excitment when the tower fell down 😂

Did you know...
We now have Tadpoles at Pre-School!
We thought we had 4 to begin with but after lots of looking we confirmed we have 6!

We'll keep you updated on how they develop 🐸

⭐️Week 17 Occupations⭐️

This week we've been talking about all the different kind of jobs.

We spent time in the nature garden where the children went on the climbing frame and swing, enjoyed the slide with the new steps and the new mud kitchen.

The children really enjoyed the different sensory trays this week, we had builders with sand like cement and blocks with the diggers and scoopers 🧱👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
We put paint over the magnetice tiles and used toothbrushes and water to clean the water off 🪟🪥

We finished the week of with a walk and play at the park 🛝

Just a reminder that we are NOT open tomorrow, Friday 22nd May!
