๐ Welcome Back! ๐
We hope everyone has had a fantastic half term break and made the most of the glorious sunshine! If we're lucky, the second half of our summer term has taken note and will keep the sunshine switched on all the way through to the summer holidays... we're certainly keeping our fingers crossed! ๐คโ๏ธ
With just one half term to go, we're ready for a busy, exciting and memorable few weeks ahead. From school trips to performances, celebrations and all the wonderful learning still to come, the second half of the summer term is always one of the best parts of the school year.
For our Year 6 children, this marks their final term in primary school. There will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate their achievements and create lasting memories before they move on to their next adventure... but we're not quite ready to think about that just yet! ๐ฅน
Please remember to send your child with a sun hat, water bottle and a layer of sun cream ๐
Here's to a fantastic final stretch full of smiles, sunshine and making memories together!

๐โ๏ธ SATs Week is underway at HGPS! ๐
Our fantastic Year 6 children began their SATs yesterday, and we are already so proud of the calm, confidence and resilience they have shown.
They have worked incredibly hard throughout the year and are well prepared for the week ahead. Remember, SATs are just one small part of their journey and do not define the many talents, strengths and qualities that make each of them so special.
A big thank you to our staff and families for their continued support, encouragement and, of course, those all important good breakfasts! ๐๐ฅฃ
Keep believing in yourselves, Year 6 youโve got this! ๐ชโญ

A calm, creative space where children can connect with nature and learn new skills ๐
Weโre so proud of everything theyโre achieving! ๐ธ
Well done to everyone involved! ๐

Friday Round-Up!
What a week itโs been! The days have been lovely and mild, making it a great time to be busy both inside and out.
Across the whole school, children have been busy sowing tomato seeds, which theyโre excited to nurture and eventually bring home. ๐ฑ๐
Thereโs been football, cricket, dancing and thatโs only at lunchtime! Itโs been fantastic to see so much energy, teamwork and joy across the playground.
We wish all our families a restful weekend and look forward to another week of smashing it next week! Maybe there will even be enough sunshine for a cheeky BBQ this weekendโฆ we can hope! โ๏ธ๐ฅ
Have a good one from the whole HGPS team ๐
