What a fun-filled morning we’ve had! ☀️🏴‍☠️

The children enjoyed splashing and exploring in our pirate ship water tray, kicking footballs around the garden, chasing bubbles, and using their imaginations in the playhouse. ⚽🫧💦🏠

We were also excited to try out our new sun hats, purchased to help keep the children protected while enjoying outdoor play. As a Sun Safe Nursery accredited setting for the past three years, we are committed to promoting sun safety and protecting children from harmful UV rays. Through education and everyday practice, we help children develop healthy sun-safe habits while having fun outdoors. 🌞👒

Safeguarding children’s health and wellbeing is an important part of our duty of care, helping to reduce the risk of sun damage and skin cancer in later life.

Lots of laughter, active play, and learning in the sunshine today

Last week’s adventure involved a very brave childminder climbing to the top of the play equipment… only to discover the fire pole looked a lot scarier from up there! 😅 Sometimes the children aren’t the only ones building confidence and trying new things.

We talk so much about encouraging little ones to be brave, take safe risks, and have a go — and today I had to remind myself to do exactly the same! Needless to say, I eventually made it down (with a few laughs along the way!) 😂🛝

🌱We're thrilled to share some exciting news! 🌱

We have achieved the highest school gardening award - the RHS Campaign for School Gardening Level 5! This prestigious recognition is awarded only to settings what can truly demonstrate that nature and sustainability are at the heart of their teaching ethos.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and of all the hard work from the children, helping watering and planting. 🌻

Now, we're looking forward to the next step - planting and growing our new packs of seeds!

A space has opened for a Monday - Friday from September 2026, All funding, vouchers and tax free is accepted.
