We are inviting staff and pupils to take part in this year’s Hello Yellow event for YoungMinds World Mental Health Day. As part of our continued work surrounding young people’s mental health, wellbeing and promoting children’s rights we are encouraging all pupils and staff to wear their favourite item of yellow clothing on this day.

If you would like to make a donation to help raise money for this charity it can be done via our dedicated page:

Wear it loud. Wear it proud. Because we stand brighter, together.

Forest School looked a little different this week as our Parliament voting meetings meant we had a shorter session, but we still made the most of our time outdoors!

The children had lots of fun trying out our new slackline, developing their balance, coordination, concentration and confidence while encouraging each other along the way.

We also enjoyed some peaceful nature sketching, taking time to sit, observe and appreciate the natural world around us.

Even with a shorter session, we had plenty of opportunities to explore, challenge ourselves, be creative and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors.
