The co op has now drawn the raffle, so congratulations to Sheila Tarbutt who won one of the playgroup raffle prizes (Cadbury’s chocolate hamper and wine).

And “Rachel” (NOT our manager Rachel!) who won the co op hamper!

Thank you to all who bought tickets and to the co op Almondbury because from the raffle tickets alone we raised over £500, which is AMAZING! 🤩

🙏 The children, staff and committee of Almondbury Playgroup would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who have helped, supported and worked so hard to make our summer fair a success today!

☀️ The sun was shining and the hotdogs, pop, cakes and sweets kept all our children going for their sponsored obstacle course.

💴 We are incredibly proud to announce that we have raised a total of £1450 for playgroup!

👏 This would not have been possible without the friends and family of playgroup along with our friends Co-op food Almondbury, so a massive thanks needs to go to the customers of Almondbury!

🎫 The raffle tickets that have been sold inside the co op have raised over £500 towards our total!

👀 The raffle will be drawn tomorrow by the co op staff, so watch out for the winning tickets!

Playgroup would like to wish The Barn (Ben Franco) the very best after they closed for the last time today.

Ben has been a true champion for the children of Almondbury over the years and has supported us as a charity.

We wish him well and would like to thank him on behalf of all the children he has helped along the way 🌈

It was a brilliant day once the rain stopped and we hope everyone had fun!
