We don’t expect them to stay still - classes are filled with physical activities that develop fine and gross motor muscle strength. Pre-school phonics doesn’t mean sitting still in front of a teacher - Formal phonics comes later!

🤖Our classes focus on Phase 1 phonics, laying the foundations for confident readers in the later years!

🤖We focus on a different letter sound each week, we play, we move and we explore that sound, building their knowledge and understanding - class by class.

💛 So when they start their phonics journey at school and begin to learn to read, they’ll be confident, knowledgable and ready for the next step in their learning journey! 💫

Tell me you’re a Type B class leader without telling me… This was last Friday when I set up for class and then realised I’d left the biscuits at home, so a mad dash to the corner shop was in order! Biscuits are an absolute none-negotiable in our classes! 🤣🙈🤪🍪

Our classes have a bit of everything, moving, dancing, laughter and silliness, bubbles, puppets parachutes and pompoms!

Each week children are introduced to a new letter sound;

👶🏼 Minis class (age 1-2.5 years) focuses on hearing sounds, rhythm and rhyme, building speech, understanding of language and building vocabulary by bringing nursery rhymes to life!

👧🏻 Preschool class (2.5-4 years) focuses on hearing sounds within simple words, segmenting and blending sounds (an important skill for early reading) through immersive play-based activities.

💫 All with a little help from our cheeky friend Robot Reg! 🤖
