If you are preparing to join our reception class in a few weeks then you are in for a fantastic time with Miss Ford. She is so excited to begin your learning journeys together and has lots of wonderful experiences planned for you! 💙💛

If you're in Year 1 in September, you are lucky enough to be with Mrs Housley who will have you singing and dancing every day!

She loves to keep busy and will have you trying out all sorts of new activities! 💛💙

If you are in our mixed Year 2 and Year 3 class next year you are lucky to have not, one, but two incredible teachers: Mrs Lumb and Mrs Heald.

They have got some very exciting and creative things planned for you and can't wait to see you! 💛💙

This week's star teacher is the wonderful Mrs Sommerville who will be guiding our mixed Year 3 and 4 class this year. Be ready for lots of exciting projects and plenty of outdoor exploring! 💛💙

First up is the wonderful Mrs Burkinshaw who will be guiding our Year 5 pupils through their last exciting year with us. She can't wait to share her love of reading with you and is planning lots of opportunities for you to explore your creative sides! 💛💙

We have a number of free reading books, that parents can take to read with their children over the summer. These will be available today to select, outside Reception Class and Class 1/ 2, from early and normal pick up. Please help yourself. 😍📚📖

Today we say a very fond farewell to Mrs Christine Dent who is hanging up her rubber gloves and mop to begin her well-deserved retirement!

Christine has been associated with St Aidan’s for 31 years and we will miss seeing her every day.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for us all and enjoy yourself!
