Cost: Free for 1 month then from £10 per year plus affiliation fees

Running Nights: Marsden Cricket Club

Tuesday: 6:30pm 5k sessions // 7pm Road & Trail (see website)
Thursday: 6:30pm 5k sessions (see website)

Road Cycling: Marsden Football Club
Wednesday: 6:30pm All Levels

Other: MTB and Walking Sessions available to Members

We are relaxed. We have people of all levels and we encourage everyone to try and run/cycle with us. If you are the kind of person that says "I will be too slow".... you need to give us a try. We are here to encourage, meet, socialise and run/ cycle as a community. ALL ARE WELCOME!

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Castle Carr Fell Race! 🏔️🔥

Great running from the team over in Hebden Bridge today!

Scott, Jonny, Rachel and Dom took on the Castle Carr Fell Race — 24km of classic Pennine punishment, with a whopping 1,200m of ascent! 😮‍💨⛰️

Open moorland, big climbs, fast descents and plenty of tough running through the stunning Castle Carr estate and across Midgley, Warley and Wadsworth Moors.

And with the race returning for one final time in 2026, the team certainly picked a good one to tackle!

Absolutely brilliant to see Sir Kevin Sinfield and his team coming through Marsden today 🏃‍♂️🚲

Day 5 of his 7 in 7 challenge, making the journey from Hull to Manchester.

After everything he’s already done, watching him simply bounce up Mount Road was phenomenal. We’re absolutely in awe. 👏

🏃‍♀️ MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO CHRISTINE! ⛰️👏

Huge shoutout to Christine for tackling the grueling 5 Valleys Ultra up in the Lake District yesterday!

She logged a massive 59.14 km with an incredible 2,342m of elevation gain!

Starting at Waterhead, Ambleside on the shores of Windermere, the spectacular point-to-point route winds through ancient woodlands to Troutbeck, climbs over High Street (the highest point on the course), sweeps through the Ullswater Valley to Glenridding, climbs past Greenside Mines up to Sticks Pass, traverses the wild slopes of Blencathra and Skiddaw through the Glenderaterra Valley, and finishes with a well-earned downhill run into Keswick.

An unforgettable journey and an absolute powerhouse effort! Well done, Christine! 🙌🔥

✈️ Yet another edition of Marsden Racers abroad! 🇮🇹

Today it was Gareth & Mike taking on the TLM – Lake Maggiore Trail in Italy. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Mike took on the 24km course, while Gareth tackled the longer 38km challenge. 💪

Hot? Absolutely. 🥵
Big climbs? Bloody huge. ⛰️
Downhills? Proper brutal. 😵‍💫
Views? Absolutely stunning. 🤩

A cracking day running through the incredible Val Grande wilderness, with huge climbs, tough descents and the finish on the shores of Lake Maggiore. 🌊🇮🇹

🌊🏃‍♂️ Brilliant to see Connor back out there! 👏🔥

First run back after taking on the Lakeland 50 Miler — and what a way to return, tackling the Dioni Abersoch Coast Trail 10K!

10km with 200m of elevation, taking in a cracking mix of coastal paths, trails, roads and beach, with some stunning views along the way. 🌊⛰️

After 50 miles around the Lakes, that’s a pretty decent comeback run! 💪👏

What a weekend! 👌
Amazing races, cracking atmosphere and another brilliant event from the Heights Ultra Trail team. A proper well-run day from start to finish 👏

Well done to all our Marsden Racers who got stuck into the various distances — and a massive thank you to everyone who stepped in to volunteer and help make the event happen. 💪

Big mention to Sara taking 1st place in the 10K, and a huge congratulations to Andrew who bagged the V60 title in the 27K! 🏁👏🏅

With the 50 Mile, 50K and 27K routes taking runners through the stunning Colne and Holme Valleys, there was plenty of beautiful trails, open moorland and some cracking views along the way. ⛰️ 👣

Brilliant weekend all round. Well done everyone! 👏🤎🖤
