As part of the International Women’s Day, the Women’s Network is hosting a competition.
Create a portrait (including photography, drawing, sketch, painting) of a woman that inspires you. It can be of your mother, sister, friend, a celebrity or even yourself! The competition is open to all University of Huddersfield Students.
To enter the competition, send your portrait to [email protected] with your name, student number and along with 2-3 sentences about why you find the woman you have chosen inspiring.
Competition closes at midnight Sunday 31st March 2022
Winner announced Tuesday 2nd April at 10 am on https://instagram.com/womensnetworkhudsu

People to help make Carnival costumes
Our Carnival costume project is now running from now until 10th August.
Are you interested in making costumes/sewing or crafts? We need people for helping out.
Work with an experienced Carnival Artist to make a large showpiece costume and dancers costumes.
Our workshop is open in Huddersfield from 12 until 9pm every day. Come for a couple of hours or stay all day.
Let us know if you are interested and one of our friendly team will be in touch to discuss and get you ready to join us.
