Dear Parents and Students,
Baby girl Gracie decided to join us in the world on the 18th March. She was born at home and everyone is doing really well. Thank you all so much for your well wishes as well as cards and gifts etc - so thoughtful of you all! 💞 I will let you all know when I am back to teaching but just wanted to thank you all again 💕

Parking Notice:
Dear Parents,
Unfortunately, our neighbours have continued to have issues with people parking blocking their driveway. We have a shared drive and can I please remind people not to park on their section or covering their spot as this is not fair to them and not our property. Parking blocking any driveway is not permitted.
There is plenty of parking on the road and I appreciate you may have to park further down the road sometimes but I am always happy to text when your child has arrived at the gate and you should never need to go that far away that you can't see them. There is parking also on the road opposite us (voice road).
If there is a spot on the driveway behind my car you are welcome to use this if it is free as it sometimes is.
I know we have had bad weather recently and walking slightly further down may be more of an inconvenience but it is really important that no neighbours are blocked in and that my teaching at home doesn't cause issues for them.
Thank you.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to all my lovely families for the amazing Christmas goodies I have received! So thoughtful and kind of you all and I feel so lucky to teach such amazing kiddos 🌟 It's been a super busy term and the effort from students with performances and exams etc has not gone unnoticed! But, to all the grown ups who have done the driving and got them from a to b I am super grateful! It's really not long until I go on maternity leave now so I know this half term will fly by. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and thank you! 🎁🎄💓

Thank you to Renewed Hope for having us at their Belfry takeover day! I always love being able to support this charity as my mum and step-dad are volunteers for their winter night shelter so it is extra special to me. Well done to the choir for another Christmas performance for our local community 🎄❣️
✨ What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit – Duntottar School School choir singing carols on the Belfry Community Stage. There are plenty more performances throughout the day, so do come down and support Renewed Hope.

Reigate and Redhill Festival syllabus is now live and entries are open! I am so pleased to say they took the feedback on board and they have added a pop vocal class!
I know the date for this is in May, when I will be on maternity leave, but it would still be lovely to see some of my students entered and I promise to still come along and support and help with any song choices and accompanists.
For the adjudicated vocal classes please follow this link - https://rrfestival.org/syllabus/vocal/ . These classes are awarded with live feedback in front of the audience and usually award first and second place.
For a class that gives feedback but not overall places follow this link - https://rrfestival.org/syllabus/rock-pop-urban/ . Please note this class is only right for pop or rock songs.
If you are unsure about what classes to enter or have any other questions please feel free to message me and I will be happy to answer any queries.

I'll be leading Let's Sing again for the Greensand Multi Academy Trust tomorrow with my lovely student and ex Reigate School student, Zoe. We are looking forward to another fantastic performance!
We are buzzing with excitement and anticipation as all ten of our member schools are getting ready for the annual Let’s Sing event.
Tomorrow evening, our school choirs will be performing a variety of songs which reflect our Trust motto ‘Stepping into Greatness’.
This Trust-wide event is a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate our community collaboration, full of talented and creative children, supported by our wonderful staff. We’re looking forward to taking our seats at this inspiring evening.
