Brighton Open Air Theatre

Bring along your favourite bear and join us on a fun, exciting adventure to get to the picnic on time! The show incorporates puppets, well-known songs and dancing together with important educational areas such as numbers, colours and shapes. Aimed at children aged 2-6.



This much loved children’s show is in its 12th year of touring and Rah Rah Theatre Company is excited to be visiting Brighton Open Air Theatre with the production.

Just Like Home is a vibrant and child centred setting. We are a Pre-school, a Breakfast and Afterschool club for local schools and a Holiday Club too. Based in a church hall and a pack-away setting we are looking for some dynamic, fun and enthusiastic Playworkers to join our team. Setting up in the morning or helping to pack it all away at the end of day. Taking and collecting children from local primary schools, engaging in fun activities and providing a space where children have an exciting environment to play, create and be themselves after a day at school.

Breakfast Club shift - 7-9.30am
Afterschool Club shift - 2.30 - 6.30pm

We are looking for some new team members to help out in our holiday club. We are open 8-6 everyday in the school holidays with various shift options.
We are looking for drivers and non drivers and also staff to work as 1:1 with children with additional needs.
Hourly salary will vary depending on age and experience.

We love being part of our local community at Just Like Home Childcare. Our pre-school children were invited to visit two local front gardens with ponds this morning. Each child took part in using the fishing net and pond dipping. We can’t wait to visit again to see any changes and observe life cycles first hand.

What a fantastic time we had at Blackberry Farm today. The rain didn’t stop us. Wellies and waterproofs worn by all and mud always puts smiles on faces!

Our pre-school children visited a community garden today. There were so many things to see and smell and they were able to recall many plants/flowers/vegetables and herbs. We will definitely visit again.

It may have been a wet and windy afternoon in Hove today but at our after school club we had plenty of fun inside. Lots going on but sewing was a big hit, especially with the boys.

Our preschool is a fantastic environment for children from 2 years of age. We have a highly qualified and experienced team who bring a wealth of knowledge to the setting. Our preschool benefits from keeping small, this allows for excellent adult engagement, meeting children’s individual needs both emotionally and also within their development. We also have the huge benefit to being out and about regularly so our children enjoy the richer experiences of the wider community and also further afield. Our setting is extremely spacious inside and outside and we have excellent links with local schools.

Our pre school children loved their time at Hove Lagoon this week. The children were challenged by some of the climbing equipment and it was great to see their confidence growing. Imaginations were flowing on the pirate ships, we learnt how to be safe walking near the water and exploring their local community makes these experiences meaningful to them 😊
