Thanks for the wonderful response to the Monthly Jazz Piano Online class. It is looking like we have enough people to run two classes, one beginner jazz piano class and one aimed at an intermediate level. It is difficult to set criteria but I'd recommend the beginner class if you are quite new to the piano or piano isn't your main instrument. We will take things at a slower pace here. Intermediate pianists should already know basic jazz voicings and have some experience of improvisation and know some standards.
To help with these, please fill in the online form below. Both classes will run on Sundays at 2pm UK time. I'm sorry that I couldn't be flexible on this due to the time difference (we are 6 hours ahead here in Thailand). Given that it is only once a month, I hope you can try to work around it. If not, I do have some availability for 1-1 jazz piano sessions during the week. Reply to this email and we can discuss further. The beginner class will run on the first Sunday of each month and the intermediate on the second.
So, the beginner class will start on Sunday the 7th of June and the intermediate class on the 14th.
