Another brilliant post from this insightful page.

I believe teaching young people and their supporters about the brain and exploring the impact of trauma is essential for healing.

Spending time with people and really listening - can change their life. It’s validating and vital. Let’s intentionally create space to help people process their experiences so that they can understand them more, whilst feeling heard and seen and also connected.

After some hugely positive sessions with young people aged 16-22, I've put together some ideas to support those with younger cohorts.

These assemblies can be delivered as a one-off introduction to the brain and concepts such as growth-mindset, neuroplasticity & mindfulness, or part of a neuro-centered series.

This generation are in desperate need of mental health support, with mostly only waiting lists, currently on offer. Facilitating a culture of mental wellness through teaching students (and your staff!) about the brain, is a proactive and progressive alternative to referring your students for outside support.

All sessions are bespoke and tailored to your community values and ethos, send over an email if you'd like to discuss how they support your personal development and wider school dvelopment plans.

Important words to reflect upon and summon when you’re next with a dysregulated person.

ND folks experience the daily trauma of attempting to navigate and meet the expectations of a neurotyoical world.

Observe, reflect, connect.
