With the help of our community, we have now reached 1,000 responses to our consultation for the proposed Voluntary Aided (state-funded) Muslim ethos school in the Borough of Hounslow.

JazakumAllahu khayran to everyone who took the time to fill out the form, share it with others, and encourage participation. Your support, dua, and efforts have been invaluable.

This milestone shows the strength of our community and the clear demand for a school that nurtures our children through both academic excellence and Islamic values.

We will now be reviewing the responses and will keep you updated on the next steps and progress as the proposal moves forward, in shaa’ Allaah.

Alhamdulillaah, we have now received 676 responses, more than half way to a 1000!

Jazakum’Allaahu khayran to everyone who has taken part so far. Your support is truly driving this initiative forward.

But the need is far greater, and here’s why:

There is currently no state-funded Muslim school in the Borough of Hounslow.
Because of this, many families are having to make difficult sacrifices:

• Travelling long distances every day just to access an Islamic ethos education
• Enrolling their children into mainstream schools that may not align with Islamic values
• Homeschooling, which can be a huge challenge for working parents

An Islamic ethos school is essential for nurturing our children in the right way, helping them grow with strong character, identity, and academic excellence.

A local Voluntary Aided Muslim school would finally provide this, right here in our borough.

We need thousands more responses to demonstrate strong community demand.

The Trustees at Unique Academy are gathering feedback from the community about its proposal to establish a Voluntary Aided (State-Funded) Muslim ethos All-Through School in the Borough of Hounslow.

This proposed school would be free to attend, providing high-quality education with an Islamic ethos.

Currently, Muslim families in the borough (as well as surrounding areas) face several challenges:
- No Voluntary Aided Muslim faith-based school.
- Long journeys to access state-funded, Muslim faith-based education elsewhere.
- Difficulty balancing mainstream school curricula with religious and cultural needs.

We endeavour to make this ambitious aspiration a reality, in shaa Allaah, by addressing these challenges and providing an educational school of excellence where the National Curriculum is delivered and underpinned by a Muslim faith ethos.

Your opinions will directly shape the proposal that we submit to the Local Authority.

We require a large number of responses in order to demonstrate strong community support as part of our proposal.
