You can help with the maths paper. You can test spellings at the kitchen table. But when it comes to the 11+ interview, a lot of parents tell us the same thing. "I don't actually know how to prepare them for that bit."

It makes complete sense. Your child spends hours on practice papers, but the speaking side is harder to see and harder to coach at home.

That is the part we love working on. In our sessions, children learn how to answer a question they were not expecting, without freezing or rushing. They practise talking about the things they genuinely enjoy, a book, a sport, a strange fact they read once, in a way that sounds like them rather than something rehearsed. And they build little tricks for staying calm when the nerves start creeping in.

The 13+ interview room can feel enormous to a bright, capable child who has never had to talk about themselves for 20 minutes straight.

We see it all the time. Children who chat happily at home suddenly freeze when a teacher asks, "So, tell me about yourself." Or they know their opinion on a debate topic, but struggle to defend it when someone pushes back.

Sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, with multiple weeks available at each location. That gives you plenty of options to find a week that suits your family.
