Greenway Nursery School & Rainbow Club

Hello, we are still planning on staying open tomorrow. We are extremely blessed to have air conditioning in our nursery rooms. We did find that the children struggled after lunch, so if you can, keep your child at home or collect early that would be beneficial for your child. Even with the air conditioned rooms, the temperature is still quite high. Children do not regulate temperature as efficiently as adults. Because of their higher surface-area-to-mass ratio, less developed sweat glands, and faster metabolism, they lose heat much faster and overheat more easily. We have no air conditioning in the Rainbow Club, we are trying to rotate the children into the cooler rooms but the children are struggling with the heat after being at school all day. If you can collect early, that would be great!
