On Monday our Year 1 children enjoyed their school trip to the British Wildlife Centre. After a very exciting coach journey they met up with their tour guide and went on to meet lots of wonderful animals. They learnt what different animals eat and all about their habitats. Their guides taught them about some of our endangered animals and what we can do to help. The children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions.

Year 2 children have started to choose their Farewell Books to be left in the Trafalgar school library when they leave us at the end of this term. The children have chosen a brand new book and placed their book plate and message inside. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have donated for their child to have a Farewell Book. When current children at Trafalgar borrow a library book in the future, they will be able to see who donated the book and all the lovely messages Year 2's have said about their time at Trafalgar.

Year 2 had a fantastic day out at Arundel Castle. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the day and were excellent role models for Trafalgar School.
We spent the day exploring the grounds in the sunshine! As well as seeing many features inside the castle, e.g. The Keep, The Great Hall, The Oubliette, The Armoury, The Garderobe, to name a few! The children listened carefully to their guides and proved themselves very knowledgeable about castles. Many thanks to our parent helpers for sharing the wonderful day with us and without whom the trip would not have been possible.

Our Year 2 children have just over a term left to learn with us so Mrs Boltonโ€™s thrilled to have been supporting them to enhance some already very impressive skills. Could we have the Lego set designers of the future or a budding baker? Will we see our scooter boarding superstars, toy investigators and wool crafting whizz create even more amazing memories as they continue to believe in themselves? The opportunities are endless with these inspirational youngsters at our school. ๐ŸŒŸ
