The Wendy House, Hornchurch The Wendy House Day Nursery in Hornchurch is an Ofsted accredited (Good rating) full day care nursery for children aged from 3 months up to five years.

With a focus on learning and recreation, Wendy House seeks to provide a firm foundation for a child's education, whilst also helping to develop social skills and confidence through play and interaction. We pride ourselves on being caring, warm, friendly, compassionate and supportive and place a huge amount of importance on our positive collaboration with parents. The nursery boasts 14 NVQ and diploma qualified staff members, who are distributed across four different rooms; Baby room, Toddler room, 2-3 year-olds room and a Pre-school room (3-5 year-olds). This ensures expert child care and helps us to maximise the benefits to your child's growth and learning. Wendy House is open from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday-Friday, all year around. We are looking for a lunchtime assistant, to support rooms between the hours of 1130am-230pm Monday - Friday.

The applicant must have a positive attitude, great communication and a flexible approach.

The Wendy House day nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We work in accordance with the DFE statutory guidance “Keeping children safe in Education”
We offer Safeguarding training for all staff.
