Following a successful first term, we are BACK on Monday for our Summer term of fun!

For those of you who are new here...hello! I'm Alice... a mum, musician and radio presenter who wanted to create music classes that feel fun, interactive and not overwhelming - a relaxed social space where little ones can make friends, build confidence, and support their speech and learning through musical play 💛

That’s how Song Birds Classes were born, and after launching in January and a really successful first term, we’re excited to be back next week from Monday 13th April 🎶

Our themed sessions for 0-4 years are SEN friendly and designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, using live guitar, sparkly sensory bags with hidden surprises, Makaton signing, instruments, singing and movement 🎸🥁✨ All designed to support speech, language, coordination and social skills in a really engaging, playful way 💛

We also run drop-in Read & Rhyme sessions for ages 0-5📚🎶
An interactive story followed by nursery rhyme fun with musical instruments... perfect for siblings too!

✨ Every class includes a FREE soft play session afterwards
🌳 When the weather allows, we also run ad-hoc outdoor sessions next door in Horley Recreation Ground for extra fresh-air fun, PLUS a Summer Party and certificates in our final week!

Looking for a warm, welcoming class for your little one? Are you in Horley, Reigate, Redhill, Crawley and surrounding areas?

After our half-term break, our newly launched Drop-In Read & Rhyme (with soft play included!) is back and we can’t wait to see you!

Each session includes:

Our Hello and Goodbye songs are more than just a lovely routine…they’re a powerful tool for your child’s communication, confidence and emotional development.

At Song Birds Classes, we use music, repetition and Makaton to help little ones learn some of their very first social and language skills.

✨ Through our hello song, children learn to:
• Recognise greetings, social cues and feel seen
• Develop early speech sounds and word patterns
• Build confidence in social situations
• Understand turn-taking and interaction

✨ Our goodbye song helps children:
• Understand transitions and routines
• Develop emotional security and predictability
• Strengthen listening and attention skills
• Learn that communication has meaning and purpose

Are you at a loose end with half-term activities? Looking for a budget-friendly indoor activity? How about a 2-in-1 fun filled morning of music and movement followed by a FREE soft play session?

Each 30-minute class is packed with games, instruments, live guitar, dance-party and sensory surprises from our sparkly bags - all woven into a themed, EYFS-inspired session that’s welcoming, inclusive, and SEN-friendly too!

Plus, every class includes a FREE soft play session afterwards at Lets Explore Soft Play with age-appropriate play areas from babies through to older children up to around 10 years!

If you’re entertaining more than one child this half-term, we suggest younger siblings join their older sibling’s class where appropriate!
