This is so true! We are always comparing our lives to others! Especially with social media playing such a big part in our lives now.
We were never meant to all be the same, we are all beautifully different, we all have different strengths and abilities and we should be celebrating them, not measuring up against someone else!

We spend so much time trying to get to where we think we are meant to be, based on society's expectations! Why? They aren't living your life, you are, and we are all different!
'You are exactly where you should be', so enjoy how far you have come, and be proud of what you have achieved! π£π

Right, now we have had a few weeks to get into our routines, some people are trying new things, or have new goals, continuing to push for goals they already had, and by this week, we are all losing a bit of momentum. Some of you have already given up and others are totally considering it!! π§
But! What have we gained if after all that effort we put in so far, is just forgotten?! Changes are not easy! We chose to make changes, to improve our lives, ourselves or our well-being amongst many other reasons!
All, totally worth every day of trying, every day of not quite getting it right, every day of learning and every day of starting again!!

Everyone has mental health, just like everyone has health. As the World Health Organization famously says, βThere is no health without mental health.β In the course of a lifetime, not all people will experience a mental illness, but everyone will struggle or have a challenge with their mental well-being (i.e., their mental health) just like we all have challenges with our physical well-being from time to time.
When we talk about mental health, weβre talking about our mental well-being: our emotions, our thoughts and feelings, our ability to solve problems and overcome difficulties, our social connections, and our understanding of the world around us.
Let's talk about mental health, let's support eachother with our mental health, let's acknowledge it, accept it, and work on it together! π£π

We get so caught up with what others think about us, or what people might be saying behind our backs, and it becomes all consuming!
We have no control over other people's thoughts, or what they may or may not be saying to others.
Focus on you, focus on being proud of yourself, focus on being the best the best version of you and focus on what you say about you, to yourself! That's what will count! π£π
