Here’s what’s happening: if the Moro reflex hasn’t integrated, their nervous system is on constant high alert. They’re not just reacting to startle triggers in the moment. They’re waiting for them. That state of readiness, that tension, that vigilance? It’s exhausting. By 3pm, their nervous system is already depleted before anything else even happens.
Parents often describe it as their child being “on edge,” “jumpy,” or “dramatic.” What they’re actually dealing with is a child whose body is running on overdrive, waiting for danger that doesn’t exist.
The good news? Once the Moro integrates through INPP work, that constant state of high alert settles. The pot gets bigger. Fewer marbles drop in because they’re not startling at everything. And the meltdowns? They soften.
