🌿 Forest School Grounds Day – Tuesday 4th August 🌿

We're looking for volunteers to join us on Tuesday 4th August for a Grounds Day to help get our Forest School area ready for the new sessions.

There are plenty of jobs to tackle, including:
🌱 Weeding and general gardening
🍃 Clearing w**d overgrowth
🪵 Moving and repositioning trunk logs and bark
🌳 General tidying and preparing the site

Whether you can spare an hour or stay for longer, we'd really appreciate your help. Many hands make light work, and it's a great way to support our Forest School while enjoying some time outdoors.

On Tuesday 19th, the children will be having their class photo day. Please could children wear their full school uniform including their jumper of cardigan. Our Year 6 children will be having a special photograph. Could they please bring in something that represents them e.g. a football, a cricket bat, dancing shoes etc. Thank you.

🌿✨ Our First Little Explorers Picnic Club! ✨🌿

We’re so excited to invite you to the very first **Little Explorers Picnic Club**! 🧺🌼

This friendly, relaxed community group is designed especially for childminders and their young children to come together and enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Andrews' Endowed. It’s all about fresh air, connection, and letting little ones explore, play, and learn naturally.

🌳 What to expect:
• A simple nature scavenger hunt to spark curiosity
• Storytelling circles led by some of our older children 📖
• Plenty of space for free play, picnics, and making new friends

🗓 Date: 19th May
⏰ Time: 11:00 – 12:00

Bring along your picnic blanket, snacks, and a sense of adventure—we can’t wait to see you there! 🌞🍓

Tomorrow morning, the desks will be spaced out, the clocks will be ticking, and the SATs papers will be laid out. But here is the secret we’ve told our Year 6 legends:

A test paper can measure what you know, but it can’t measure who you are. It can't track the way you've stepped up as role models this year, the kindness you show the younger years, or that unique spark you bring to our hallways. To us, you aren't a score or a data point—you’re the thinkers, the athletes, and the artists who make this school what it is.

So, to our Year 6 crew:

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow for breakfast (it’s fuel for that brilliant brain).

Take a deep breath (you’ve done the hard work already).

Show the paper what you’ve got, but remember—the result doesn't define your future. You do.

We are already immensely proud of you.

A big thank you to our wonderful community supporters! 🐝💛

We would like to say a huge thank you to Travis Perkins for kindly donating the wood for our exciting beehouse project. Your generosity is helping bring this fantastic idea to life for our pupils.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to a kind Abri team member who went out of their way to help transport the wood for us when it didn’t quite fit in our vehicle—your support made all the difference!

Our Year 6 pupils have been busy designing their beehouses using Tinkercad, showing great creativity and thoughtful ideas to support local wildlife. We’re so proud of their designs and can’t wait to share photos of the finished beehouses in a few weeks’ time. 🐝🌼

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at some of their fantastic design ideas!
